About Danish Society for Healthcare Management

Danish Society for Healthcare Management – shortened DSS – is an interdisciplinary network and a forum for inspiration for actors in the Danish Healthcare with an interest in strategic and operational management. The Society has its foundation in Association of Hospital Administrators in Denmark, founded in 1912.

 

The Danish Society for Healthcare Management wishes to mark/characterize/emphasize developments in the Danish healthcare service. It happens primarily by disseminating knowledge and opinions to the management in the healthcare management.

 

Do you want to become a member?
Are you a leader in the healthcare service? Are you interested in management at a strategic and operational level? Are you a part of the staff management of the general management? Or are you employed in a private corporation associated with the healthcare service? Then you will have great benefit of being a member of DSS.

 

The benefits of being a member are as follows:

  • Receiving the Journal for Danish Health Care by mail 8 times a year. Each number contains 50-60 pages with fascinating and current topics about the development of the hospital and healthcare with a management perspective.
  • Favorable membership prices at the Society´s annual meeting, interdisciplinary conferences and seminars as well as priority attendance.
  • Possibility to participate in events, education activities and study travels of the Society.

What does a membership cost?
You can choose between following memberships of DSS:

  • Ordinary/personal membership: 500 Danish kroner yearly.
  • E-membership: Subscription to Journal for Danish Health Car: 500 Danish kroner yearly.
  • A-institution membership: For institutions with more than 3.000 employees. 40.000 Danish kroner yearly.
  • B-institution membership: For institutions with 500–3.000 employees. And for regions as well: 25.000 Danish kroner yearly.
  • C-institution membership: For institutions with 50-500 employees: 15.000 Danish kroner yearly.
  • D-institution membership: For institutions with 0-50 employees. And for municipalities: 10.000 Danish kroner yearly.

We store your personal data as a member with great safety and confidential according with current legislation and we don’t share your data with other companies.

 

You can at anytime get to know what data DSS has on you. Write to KAC@niras.dk. You can also get your personal data deleted immediately by writing to us on the abovementioned email.
